Phase III results approach for Cinclus – “We are hopeful”

Cinclus’ lead product, linaprazan glurate, is being developed as a potential treatment for erosive gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a condition that can cause severe heartburn. An estimated 19 million people are affected worldwide, with more than 10 million of them in Europe and the US.

An eight-week treatment period has recently been completed for the 523 patients participating in the Phase III trial. The patients are from eight European countries. The data will now be compiled and prepared ahead of the preliminary topline results, which are expected to be presented later this year.
