The trial evaluated two of Kodiak’s drug candidates, with both Zenkuda and tabirafusp alfa tedromer demonstrating non-inferior vision improvement after one year compared with market-leading Eylea (aflibercept) from Regeneron and Bayer.
With Zenkuda, the improvement in vision was achieved using an individualised dosing strategy that allowed more than half of the trial participants to receive injections only once every six months, compared with once every eight weeks for Eylea, according to Kodiak.
