Danish biosolutions company expands U.S. factory

Novonesis has expanded its facility in the U.S. cheese capital.

The Danish manufacturer of biosolutions to health, agri and food sectors Novonesis has reopened its facility in West Allis, Wisconsin.

According to a press release from Novonesis, the investment up the company's North American fermentation capacity by two thirds and packaging facility by 17 percent, making West Allis one of the world's biggest production facilities for lactobacillus, a probiotic found in yoghurt.
