€67.5m financing for Danish eyecare candidate

Danish retinal disease treatment company Breye Therapeutics has raised €67.5 million in a Series A financing round.

The over-subscribed financing round was led by new investor Mission BioCapital and existing investor Novo Holdings with support from the Ljungström family office, Innovestor Life Science, EIFO, Catalyze Capital, Modi Ventures, and Pappas Capital.

Breye Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing oral therapeutics for the early treatment of retinal diseases.
