Stryker CEO steps down – company veteran takes over
After more than 15 years at Stryker, Kevin Lobo will step down as CEO at the end of the year. He will be succeeded by Chief Operating Officer Spencer Stiles, who has spent almost his entire career at the US medtech giant.
Kevin Lobo will step down as CEO on 31 December and become Executive Chair. The following day, Spencer Stiles will take over as CEO and also join the board.
The change marks the end of a long period with Lobo at the helm. He joined Stryker in 2011 as a division president and became CEO the following year.
