12 new medicines recommended for EU approval

A treatment for haemophilia and a rabies vaccine are among the new medicines recommended for approval by EMA’s Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP).

An even dozen new medicines received positive opinions following CHMP’s September meeting, and can therefore expect forthcoming approval from the European Commission.

Among them is Frehemgo from Denmark’s Novo Nordisk, a treatment for haemophilia A developed to provide long‑acting prophylaxis with multiple dosing intervals – once monthly, every two weeks or once weekly.
