Disruptive sells former Guard platform – deal ‘not financially material’
What was formerly Guard Therapeutics became Disruptive Pharma following a reverse acquisition. Now, one of the remaining parts of the former Guard business is being sold as the listed company shifts its full focus to Disruptive’s formulation technology.
The Swedish pharmaceutical technology company Disruptive Pharma is selling the so-called GTX platform to a wholly owned subsidiary of Aurelia Invest.
The GTX platform comprises therapeutic peptides based on the endogenous protein alpha-1-microglobulin (A1M), including the drug candidate GTX-86, which has been developed for the treatment of kidney diseases.
