In the latest round, BMS is notifying 265 employees tied to the company’s corporate headquarters in Princeton. Earlier this year, the company carried out two layoff rounds in New Jersey — first in February, affecting 247 employees, and then in April, when 206 positions were eliminated.
“These efforts help us operate more efficiently, create flexibility to invest in growth opportunities and our differentiated pipeline, and continue delivering long-term value for patients, colleagues and shareholders,” a BMS spokesperson said in a statement to Fierce Pharma.
