The phase II NeoLIPA trial is under way at Oslo University Hospital and Haukeland University Hospital in Bergen, where researchers are evaluating Lytix Biopharma’s lead drug candidate ruxotemitide in combination with the immunotherapy pembrolizumab before surgery in patients with melanoma.

The company has now announced that the trial has met its primary endpoint, pathological complete response (pCR). This means that no viable cancer cells can be detected in the tumour tissue removed during surgery.
