An agreement has been signed with pharmaceutical company Hipolabor Farmacêutica for the joint development and commercialisation of the drug candidate in Brazil, which is described as one of the world’s largest markets for dengue treatments.
Under the agreement, Lund-based SynAct Pharma and Hipolabor will share profits from any sales of resomelagon for dengue fever in Brazil equally, alongside milestone payments linked to cumulative net sales of $200 million.
